All Things are Possible

All things are possible when you have faith in God.

When we have wrong thinking, we’ll have wrong actions. God can’t work through you except to the degree you believe. If you don’t believe you can do this, then you can’t do it. But we got to correct our thinking because what normally is supposed to take a moment, we are stretching it out to a year. We need to start thinking differently.

Matthew 17:24

  1. And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Doth not your master pay tribute?
  1. He saith, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What thinkest thou, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?
  2. Peter saith unto him, Of strangers. Jesus saith unto him, Then are the children free.
  3. Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go thou to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first cometh up; and when thou hast opened his mouth, thou shalt find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and thee.

Jesus taught this supernatural way of providing the needs. If you want to see the supernatural, you got to teach the supernatural. That’s what Jesus teached them. Go to the sea! He didn’t tell them, go get a job. He said go to the sea and we’ll pull some supernatural money out of a fish’s mouth. Peter did exactly what Jesus told him to do. This is a supernatural living.

Matthew 14:28

  1. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.
  2. And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

You have been made to live supernatural life style in this world.

Luke 4:23,24

  1. But I tell you of a truth, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elias, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;
  2. But unto none of them was Elias sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

When the family was in a difficult situation, God sent a prophet to a person who wasn’t even under the covenant.Prophet now asked the widow to give her last money. The supernatural says I’m not afraid. This woman gave her last seed !

This is the time for supernatural. God has the power enough to do it. We should not be ashamed of the gospel. We got to believe that God’s word is true and the power of the word comes with the word. If the word is released in a believing heart, the power is right there. The word of God is full of faith, it goes right down to the very root where it’s causing the problem.

Everything starts in the spirit. Everything that is material has its origin in the spirit. Material things are dependent on spiritual things for their existence. Things that you can see are depending on something you can’t see for their existence. What is unseen is keeping what is seen in its place. Nothing can exist without the spiritual component.

If you tithe and you speak against it, the tithe will be negated.  Your heavens will not be open. That’s how powerful your words are. By your words you shall be justified. By your words you shall be condemned. God created this world by his word. You speak and just believe that it will come to pass and you will have whatever you say.

Medicines don’t heal anybody. Medicine sets up the environment that healing can take place; so you don’t heal anybody. What heals you is the word. Have faith in God. What made you is the word. The Word can fix any thing.

Isaiah 8:18

Behold, I and the children whom the LORD hath given me are for signs and for wondersin Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

You are in a family of divine royalty. That’s the family you are! And the enemy is trying to destroy that image, and when you start fussing then you’re not building that image. But working against the image. You destroy that image because royalty does not fuss. When you are born again He has put the seeds of greatness in you. Its not only when you speak things in fuss but when you think negative thoughts; you build an environment for the seed to no longer germinate.

You got to fight your flesh. You’ll have to leave the five senses behind and let them no longer dictate to you on how you feel, what you can do, how far you can go and what you can have. You goto that problem and tell the problem that you are royalty, that you are the King’s kid, that you are His offspring, that you can do all things.

Prayers that get answered

James 1:5

If any of you deficient in wisdom, let him ask of the giving God (who gives) to everyone liberally and ungrudgingly, without reproaching or faultfinding, and it will be given him.

The mess in your life is your own making. They came through your own lack of wisdom. You got yourself in trouble. You didn’t listen to God to start with. You didn’t follow peace. You can still even in the midst of that, can go to God and ask Him to help you, and He won’t reproach you which means shame or blame. He doesn’t find fault with you. He just helps you. That doesn’t mean He doesn’t teach you, train you and correct you.

If you have a child that has not done all their chores this week but they are outside playing in the neighborhood and now when bully gets after them. And you hear them screaming for help. You’re not going to check their list of chores to see if they got all their check marks. Otherwise, it’s too bad for them. If the door is not open you may go through it, to get outside to help your kid. And that doesn’t mean that you won’t correct them later about their chores. That doesn’t mean that you might not even tell them that they can’t go outside. But you will not refuse to help your children, though they are not perfect and don’t do everything exactly the way you want them to.

So stop letting the devil steal from you, by thinking that you dare not ask God to help you because you have not done everything that you should do. Just own it.

James 1:6-8

  1. Only it must be in faith that he asks with no wavering (no hesitating, no doubting). For the one who wavers (hesitates, doubts) is like the billowing surge out at sea that is blown hither and thither and tossed by the wind.
  2. For truly, let not such a person imagine that he will receive anything (he asks for) from the Lord;
  3. (For being as he is) a man of two minds (hesitating, dubious, irresolute), (he is) unstable and unreliable and uncertain about everything (he thinks, feels, decides).

Doubt leaves us midway between believing and not believing. And this says we’re not to become people of two minds. The Bible talks about the mind of the Spirit and the mind of the flesh. We have to learn to live by the mind of the Spirit. There are times when I can believe something with my heart, but the enemy is going to use my mind to try to steal my faith. It is important that we believe all the way through to the manifestation. I can pretty much promise you that doubt is going to come against your mind, but that’s when you need to go back to the mind of the spirit. And very often go back to the scripture, what does the word say; you see it doesn’t matter how I feel; it doesn’t matter what I think; it doesn’t matter what people say; it doesn’t really matter even what my circumstances are.

The only thing that really matters is what the word says. This is what it means to walk by the word. When you’re standing in faith for something or you ask God for something and it’s not happening. When we pray for somebody else God begins to deal with them. It is very possible that when you start praying for somebody, they can act worse than they did. Then what the devil wants you to think is sure isn’t working. But what you need to say you can take your doubts and head back to hell where you came from, because it is God’s will that all should be saved.

I have prayed and I believe that God is working in my behalf right now. And not only will that help the answer come through, but here’s a really good benefit you stay happy and excited in the meantime. Everybody is excited when they’re expecting a breakthrough at any moment. A positive expectation is something good about to happen any moment. We need to wake up and think I can hardly wait to see what God does today.

Mark 11:23, 24

  1. Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him.
  2. For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you,and you will (get it).

We need to believe we’ve got it before we see it. We’ve got two lives – spiritual life and a natural fleshly life. The spiritual part of us cannot be seen. It operates in an unseen realm, where there are unseen yet wonderful amazing things happening. When God suddenly does something in your life, that doesn’t mean that was when He started working on it. God is already working in your behalf.

2 Corinthians 4: 13

Yet we have the same spirit of faith, as he had who wrote, “I have believed and therefore have spoken,” we too believe, and therefore we speak,

When doubt comes, open up your mouth and confess what you’re believing and not the lie the devil is telling you. Just because a crook knocks on your door that doesn’t mean you have to let him in. If we know very much about God at all to be honest, we rarely ever doubt that God can do something, but we doubt that he will do it for us. It’s easier sometimes to tell somebody else what to do for them and believe it for them than it is to believe it for ourselves; and that’s because we look at all of our mistakes. God is merciful. I am not focused on what is wrong with me. Whatever I am, I am I Christ and whatever I’m not I’m still in Christ.

If I do anything good it’s because He enabled me and if I do anything bad then He’s the only one that can forgive me. The only way you can thank God for showing you what’s wrong with you is if you’re not condemned by it.

2 Corinthians 5:21

He that knew no sinbecame sin that we might be made righteousness of God in Christ.

Romans 5:20

Where sin abounds, grace does much more abound.

In Him, we are justified, made right with Him, sanctified, redeemed, set free.  Our imperfection has nothing to do with God’s ability and willingness to answer our prayers.

Hebrews 4:15

For we do not have a High Priest who is unable to understand and sympathize and have a shared feeling with our weaknesses and infirmities and liability to the assaults of temptation, but One who has been tempted in every respect as we are, yet without sinning.

Jesus knows what it’s like to be in a human body and how doubts come, temptations come, impatience come; He understands all that. He made it through all of it without sinning and He did it for us and we get the reward that He deserves.

Hebrews 4:16

Let us then fearlessly and confidently and boldly draw near to the throne of grace (the throne of God’s unmerited favor to us sinners), that we may receive mercy (for our failures) and find grace to help in good time for every need (appropriate help and well-timed help, coming just when we need it).

Don’t ever draw back from asking God to help you. Our faith should be in Jesus. Because of that we can come boldly to His throne.

FATHER’S LOVE

The great transformation is what God does in us and He changes us from what we were when we started to what He wants us to be. It’s a process, not something that happens all at once, it doesn’t happen instantaneously. It happens over a period of time. If you want to enjoy your journey with God then you’ll have to be patient and realize that although you’re not yet where you need to be that God is not mad at you. He loves you every step of the way. The main thing that God wants is, for us to just keep pressing on and to be making some kind of progress.

I like progress. I like to know that I’m getting somewhere, even if it’s not everywhere that I would like to be at least on getting somewhere. You may not be where you want to be to thank God you’re not really used to be. I want to encourage you to be excited about the growth that you’ve had. Don’t always just be looking at what you’re not, but really get excited. Take some time and think about the difference in you, from when you started with God and where you’re at now.

The greatest cramp transformation is, for a person to be selfish, self-centered, self-conscious, self-conceited, self-confident, self-absorbed and be turned into a Christ-like unselfish child of God who walks in love. That’s our GOD – walking in love not the world kind of love that we turn on and off depending on what people do. But the agape of God – the kind of love that just loves because that’s what it is. A good thing to pray is God reduce me to love. Let me be a body wholly filled and flooded with love. The greatest commandment –

Matthew 22:37-39

  1. Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the Lordyour God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’
  2. This is thefirst and great commandment.
  3. And thesecondis like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’

The Bible is a book largely about relationships. It’s about our relationship with God, our relationship with people but it’s also a lot about our relationship with ourselves. The Bible talks about the way God wants us to see ourselves and the attitude that He wants us to have toward ourselves. God actually wants you to love yourself. Not in a selfish self-centered way but in a balanced healthy way. He wants you to not be against yourself all the time; constantly finding everything that’s wrong with you but He wants you to see what He has created you to be. Although you have not arrived yet; you are on your way. You need to learn who you are in Christ and then begin to walk in that to experience this kind of transformation.

When we are born again we were put into Christ and He comes to live in us. We become one and so Him being in us, we now share everything that He is, everything that He has and everything that He has done by faith. Jesus is totally righteous; nothing wrong with Him.

2 Corinthians 5:21

For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.

Jesus became sin that we might be made the righteousness of God in Christ. So in Christ, one of the things that we now have is rightness instead of wrongness.

Romans 3:23, 24

  1. for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
  2. being justified freely by His grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,

It doesn’t say that we all have sinned and did fall short, we are falling short. Every day every moment we are falling short of the honor and the glory which God bestows and receives. In Christ we are made right with God. You know how wonderful and freeing it is to not have to constantly meditate on everything that’s wrong with you. The world is full of people that are more than happy to tell you what’s wrong with you. I say, we are righteous. I don’t mean we do everything right and that’s the glory of this. We all are falling short of the glory of God.

The Bible says that when we sin we not only sin in behavior but also in thought and word. We might as well just give up the pressure of perfectionism and stop feeling like God’s going to reject us or be mad at us if we don’t perform perfectly every day. If you love God enough then you are not a person that’s getting up every day looking for an excuse to sin. Do your best and let God do the rest. Every day you’ll get better and better and better little by little from glory to glory.

How to overcome guilt?

In order to grow spiritually, we must learn who we are in Christ. Its by His great amazing grace and mercy, He has not only forgiven all of our sins but He has given us His very own righteousness. We have right standing with God legally because of the blood of Christ even though we still do things wrong. So imputed righteousness is a gift from God that enables us to learn how to walk in that right standing and gradually over a period of time do more and more things right because we’ve been given righteousness. God never expects us to produce something that He doesn’t give us a seed of that, first in our lives.

Not that God possibly tells us to be patient; if He doesn’t put a seed of patience in us. We have no ability unless God gives us that. How could He possibly tell us to walk in peace in the troubled world that we live in, if He doesn’t give us a seed of peace? It’s very important for people to understand as a believer what you already have the moment you’re born again. God downloads seeds of His own character into our spirit. We have God living on the inside of us.

The Bible says that we have the fruit of the Holy Spirit, not an unholy spirit but the fruit of the Holy Spirit. Love – you have an ability to love people. Joy – our joy does not have to be based on our circumstances; we can have a joy that’s found only in God. Peace, patience all these are wonderful fruits of the spirit. Self-control, humility, meekness, there’s no point going around and saying I can’t control myself because we do have self-control.

We might say I don’t want to control myself or I’m not strong enough yet to control myself. But we need to confess loud what we already have as a gift from God. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. I am patient – you say no, I am not. Here I’m just working with God to get it from in (heart) to out (mouth) where it can actually do somebody some good. You are fully loaded and equipped to be a dynamic influence in the world today. You just have to believe it and you will overcome the guilt.

The sound of victory

Every fiftieth year is a great year because it’s the year of Jubilee. Everyone returns to their possession, every debt is cancelled.

Leviticus 25: 8 – 10

8 And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years.

9 Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land.

10 And you shall consecrate the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.

Whatever you have lost you get it back. Every fiftieth year everyone gets back their possession. It’s the year of restoration. Shout for the Lord has given you the city. To possess your possessions you need to proclaim the Lord’s death. Communion is a non-verbal way of proclaiming the Lord’s death. When you take the Lord’s Supper, you proclaim the Lord’s death. Satan can’t see you taking the Lord’s Supper, he moves four five step back. Sickness and disease trembles when you take the Lord’s Supper. All the lost things will be yours in this year of restoration.

Blessings Unlocked

Hebrews 12:2

Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Looked at in the Greek means look away from everything else that distracts and fix your eyes on Jesus. Literally there is a word in Greek for looking. Look away from everything that distracts and everyone else. Fix your eyes on Him. When you look at celebrities, you stay the same, when you look at Jesus you change. You are transformed. There’s power in that look.

Matthew 17:2

And He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light.

Matthew 26:67

Then they spat in His face and beat Him; and others struck Him with the palms of their hands,

The Pharisees finally bound Jesus and we know that none of them can bind Jesus without His consent, because when they came to arrest Him in the garden all He had to do was, when he said we are looking for Jesus of Nazareth he says I am, the name of God in the burning bush and they all fell backwards and fell to the ground. He let them recover to capture Him and says let my disciples go. He gave Himself. It wasn’t that He was captured, He gave Himself. It is a horrible thing for even heaven to look down. They look at the son of God and they are spitting on His face and they beat Him.They spit and beat Him and others struck Him with the palms of their hands.

Matthew 26:27, 26

27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole garrison around Him.

26 Then he released Barabbas to them; and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered Him to be crucified.

They hit Him and beat Him. What did they do is that they stretch His back and most likely not even wearing anything. You stretch your back and your foot is barely touching the floor. Another form is that they bow you down and bind your back exposed. Whatever it is they need to stretch your back. And then they have a lather whip with broken glass, shreds, shots, bones and hooks. So what they do is that when they stretch it against His skin, it wraps around the skin and the flesh would come out. The Bible says, if it’s a Jewish scourging there will be 39 stripes but Jesus wasn’t scourge by the Jews. He was scourged by the Romans. So we don’t know how many times they beat Him. But we know that the Greek writer, the Greek language that was used by Peter with His stripe we are healed use the singular stripe. If one sleeve of the skin is left, he would say stripes which mean no more skin is left in His back. In fact the prophesy says, my bones stare and look at me. That’s how much our Lord suffered for us.  By His stripes all your sickness is healed. We preach more and more about what Jesus did because faith brings all blessings and people receive effortlessly.

Say “Yes!” to all His promises

Abraham when he was about to leave and be without lot. The Bible says of this account of him.

Genesis 24: 1

Now Abraham was old, well advanced in age; and the Lord had blessed Abraham in all things.

In the above verse, all things means – parenting, in his ministry, in his flock, in every area of life. Most of all, in his walk with God. Joshua after crossing the river Jordan and possessing the Promised Land, now he’s an old man. He died at the age of 210. He says this in Book of Joshua.

Joshua 23: 14

“Behold, this day I am going the way of all the earth. And you know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the Lord your God spoke concerning you. All have come to pass for you; not one word of them has failed.

Not one of them has failed. God is a God who wants to bless you in every area. May this be said of you at the end of your life. Not one word of God in their lives had failed. We believe God for healing, we believe God for the best. Your experience is not the measure. The word of God is the measure.

Ephesians 1: 3

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ,

If you can touch something it is less real than spiritual. You know why? It’s dying. It’s decaying. Everything you can touch and see, is not what exactly it will be. There is less hope in the physical. Invisible doesn’t mean not real. Invisible means not seen by your eyes. It’s more real, more substantial than the physical that’s visible, because God is a spirit and God brought forth the material. It wasn’t the material that brought forth the invisible spiritual. It was a spirit being brought forth the material. All your answers are in the spirit. It manifests in the physical.

Angels are forever young, they saw two of them at Jesus’ tomb when He rose from the dead. The Bible says they looked like young men. There’s no aging in Heaven. Why? Because they are forever in the spirit world. But spirit doesn’t mean it’s not real. So this word “Spiritual blessings” is from the Greek word “pneumatikos” which means things that have their origin in God. If I don’t trust God, but I’m a person who trusts my abilities, and I believe I exercise, I do exercise. But if I just exercise trusting my abilities, I may actually have a health or a fitness that is actually the origin as man. It’s fleshly, which doesn’t speak much about its future. I can exercise but my trust is in God for health, now the blessing is different. That health is “pneumatikos.”

It has its origin in God. This word “spiritual” is used for the gifts of the Holy Spirit. For example, one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit is healing-Gifts of healing. How does it manifest? It manifests physically. When I point at a man and a woman, I say, “that man is blessed by God.” You cannot see it, but you can see the effects. We have the spiritual blessings. Spiritual blessing is forgiveness of sins. God is bigger than someone cheating you. You don’t have to go down to their level. Don’t hold a grudge against the person who cheated, lied, and robbed you. God will always bless you more. There is a promise you should memorize and keep in your heart. Because a lot of voices are out there and they are trying to make you think that on this teaching God wants to prosper you, God wants to give you health.

2 Corinthians 1:20

For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.

When you say “YES”, itsnot just maybe it’s for us, I do not know yet. It has to be an affirmative yes. “All the promises of God is yes. It is for us. When you say that yes and Amen, you will give glory to God. It will be through you. Those who don’t have the attitude of yes and Amen when it comes to the blessings of God, they don’t see it manifest. Even though God wants them to have it. You must tell your child or your loved one who is sick, “God wants you well.” Jesus was very firm. According to your faith be it unto you. As you have believed, so be it done unto thee. All these are Jesuswords. So your faith is important. What you believe is important.

2 Corinthians 1:17 – 19

17 Therefore, when I was planning this, did I do it lightly? Or the things I plan, do I plan according to the flesh, that with me there should be Yes, Yes, and No, No?

18 But as God is faithful, our word to you was not Yes and No.

19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us—by me, Silvanus, and Timothy—was not Yes and No, but in Him was Yes.

Does God want you and your family well? Yes! Even if there are trials, God still wants you well? Yes! We believe it is, and God gets the glory. To the glory of God through us.
